Only eight major car manufacturers will be at the Geneva Motor Show.

If you think that the Montreal Auto Show, which is currently in full swing, is the only one suffering from a shortage of manufacturers, the Geneva International Motor Show has just announced that only eight major car companies will be present at the next event scheduled from February 26th to March 3rd. Just like in Montreal, there will be no German or Japanese manufacturers present.

Once considered one of the most important and influential automotive events worldwide, the Geneva Motor Show is expected to open its doors this year with little fanfare, no longer living up to its former glory. This event, which has always attracted a multitude of car enthusiasts and industry leaders, has lost its significance as only eight car brands are expected to participate in 2024.

This year, the show, which will take place from February 26th to March 3rd, will only host two major European car brands and none of the major Japanese manufacturers. Renault and Dacia are the largest European manufacturers that will be represented among the participating brands. The other brands will be BYD, Isuzu, Lucid, MG Motor, Microlino, and Pininfarina.
